So far only 43 are regconized; that doesn't mean some other diseases not listed aren't treatable by acupuncture. It takes lots of human resources and time to scientifically recognize something. <BR/><BR/>I agree with you that Chinese medicine sees things from many perspectives. WHO hasn't reviewed any new diseases recognized.<BR/><BR/>As far as I know, acupuncture and moxibustion are used very widely because Chinese medicine sees diseases from many perspectives and they use many different yet complimentary theories to diagnose and treat patients.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
